The seminar was a 3-day event focusing on new sonar technology and it had well over hundred delegates plus speakers and technology partners. It makes it our largest European seminar, since we started the yearly seminar concept.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We had put together an extensive educational program including international paper presentations, hands-on class room training, workshops with our technology partners, demo boat tours and a factory visit to the Teledyne RESON headquarters.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All the companies of the newly formed Teledyne Marine Acoustic Imaging Group , including RESON, BlueView and Odom Hydrographic, were present at the seminar. It became clear that our customers now have access to a whole range of underwater imaging solutions. There was a great deal of interest in the Teledyne Odom Hydrographic and the Teledyne BlueView demos and workshops. Francis Freire, a PHD at Stockholm University said:  “I realised that Teledyne has a full range of multibeam sonars which allows you to select exactly the one you need, depending of the needs you have”.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All our technology partners also experienced a lot of interest from the delegates, who were eager to learn about new technologies and products. Throughout the seminar there was a good atmosphere and the social events called for late nights in Copenhagen.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We would like to thank all the delegates who attended the seminar as well as the technology partners and speakers for making this event a success.&lt;/p&gt;

When Thomas Meurling, Vice President of Sales at Teledyne RESON, started presenting the new Feature Pack 4 for SeaBat 7125 as well as the portable SeaBat T20-P, the conference was packed with more than 200 attendees.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;As the day progressed, the English speakers (with translations in Mandarin) were followed by presentations in Mandarin (with translations in English). It was clear that being able to discuss sonar technology in their mother tongue was much appreciated by the Chinese attendees.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Beside the newest Sonar technology from Teledyne RESON, the attendees were also presented with a variety of technology from Teledyne BlueView, Teledyne Odom, Caris, AML, Applanix and IxBlue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;In the afternoon Shiahn-Wern Shyue, Ph.D. and Associate Professor at the National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan presented his paper: “Fish Detection and Distribution by using Multibeam Water Column Images around Artificial Reefs” (Appears in the interview above).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Professor Zhou Xinghua from First institute of Oceanography, SOA presented his paper: “RESON SeaBat7125 Multibeam Sonar is Applied in The Detection of Seabed Pipelines”.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Director Zhangliang from Shanghai Maritime safety Administration presented his paper: “Methods of improving accuracy of Multibeam survey” .&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The final guest speaker was Li Sujiang, President at the Tianjin Port &amp;amp; Waterway Prospection and Design Research Institute co, LTD. It was clear that being able to discuss sonar technology in their mother tongue was much appreciated by the Chinese attendees.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Beside the newest Sonar technology from Teledyne RESON, the attendees were also presented with a variety of technology from Teledyne BlueView, Teledyne Odom, Caris, AML, Applanix and IxBlue.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;In the afternoon Shiahn-Wern Shyue, Ph.D. and Associate Professor at the National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan presented his paper: “Fish Detection and Distribution by using Multibeam Water Column Images around Artificial Reefs” (Appears in the interview above).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Professor Zhou Xinghua from First institute of Oceanography, SOA presented his paper: “RESON SeaBat7125 Multibeam Sonar is Applied in The Detection of Seabed Pipelines”.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Director Zhangliang from Shanghai Maritime safety Administration presented his paper: “Methods of improving accuracy of Multibeam survey” .&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The final guest speaker was Li Sujiang, President at the Tianjin Port &amp;amp; Waterway Prospection and Design Research Institute co, LTD.
